Doctor of Philosophy, director of the International Institute of Socionics (MIS) since 1992, head of the Center for Physical and Space Research of the MIS.
A.V. Bukalov is a chief-editor of 5 scientific journals: “Physics of consciousness and life, cosmology and astrophysics”, “Socionics, mentology and personality psychology” (since 1995), “Management and personnel: management psychology, socionics and sociology”, “Psychology and socionics of interpersonal relations”, “The origin of language and culture: the ancient history of mankind”, which are included in a number of international bibliometric databases. He is author of more than 400 scientific and applied works in the fields of modeling physical processes (physics of superconductivity, cosmology and astrophysics), biophysical, informational, mental, socio-political, ethnic and historical processes, as well as the use of psycho-informational technologies.
His citation index (Hirsch index) in Google Scholar is h=34 (as of 2023). He is ranked 8th (out of 7500) in the ranking of scientists of Ukraine in the “Social Sciences” section. According to the scientific rating, he is included in the 0.6% of the most cited scientists in the SCIENCE INDEX RSCI, which presents the profiles of 1 million scientists.
His scientific interests also include the area of cybernetic, biophysical and quantum models, modeling of life, consciousness and psyche, as well as the development of earthly civilization, including within the framework of SETI, with a new solution to the well-known astrosociological Fermi paradox. Many articles on these topics are openly available on the Internet network of scientific publications ResearchGate.
He received a diploma of the Ukrainian Optical Society (2009) “for an outstanding contribution to the creation and popularization of the latest trends in Human Optics” with the award of a medal to them. acad. N.I. Vavilov. A.V. Bukalov awarded with the Grand Laureate Diploma of the International Academic Rating (2008), signed by the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician B.E. Paton; the diploma was presented by the Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Academician A.G. Naumovets. In 2011, he was awarded a medal and a diploma, which were presented by the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician B.E. Paton.
